Guy is good. For a contrast take a peek at this site of large ship engines being built back in the day. Have to scroll down a bit to get to the good stuff.

Maybe that's why I'm fascinated by the differences in engine sizes. Although the engines I've retired from working on weren't nearly as large as the ship engines in the link it was mostly hoist work since a piston and con rod assembly weighed about 1,600 lbs. Those 6 cyl. turbo 2 cycles I'm familiar with only produced 2,000 hp @300 rpm so they were babies really.

And I must agree with you. That guy is good.
