May I take the opportunity thank this forum for the wealth of information.
I wish to ask some experts help on a problem I have found on my friends B1-17DT tractor`s 3PT hydraulic. This machine has the B1750DT as its closest match.
The problem is VERY SLOW response on the 3PT arms. The machine will swiftly lift the rotary or any attachment, but will lower only after several seconds. Even when lowering starts, the response is slow nevertless the load applied. Since the lowering action is by weight, I do not think the problem is with the hydraulic pump, or the tranny hydraulic strainer.
I have also tried turning the valve which is under the seat ( between the legs) but unfortunately it has not solved the problem.
Any ideas what could be done to remedy the problem?
