Rotary Cutter Slip clutch cover switch

I have a Frontier RC 2072 rotary cutter. The slip clutch is difficult to access because of the plastic safety housing over it. The JD MX series rotary cutters have a metal housing that opens up to allow access to the clutch.

Does anyone know if a MX housing will fit on a RC cutter?
