Quick Hitches Skid steer attachments disconnecting

Well yea, but in the above picture there is about a 1/2" of thread that you could use to extend the pin. If the pins are worn that much, why not just replace them?
In my case it was a nearly new tractor & new forks. The bucket fit properly. It was just the fork frame that was really loose. Nothing any where was worn. This is just my experience & might not be relevant for the other uses being discussed.

I'd assume that adjustment isn't the issue. The pins are spring loaded & the levers go over center. That means the springs are keeping constant pressure on the pins. Combine that with the wedges on the top & angle on the pins keep the SSQA tightening as it vibrates or wiggles.

My first set of pallet forks from Titan was similarly out of spec. The pins only barely engaged the holes on the forks. They refunded some of the price, in theory to have a local welder fix things. I just welded some bar stock to the bottom of the holes so the angle on the pins would have something to grab on & tighten up the SSQA.
Upward force resulting from the angle on the pins can easily overcome the spring force. The overcenter mechanism is designed to provide a positive stop to prevent the pins rising out of the slots.
When the pins on my 7520 are well greased they regularly rise to the stop during hard backdragging.

Kioti had an issue with the SSQA back when I first bought my NX. 3rd-party attachments weren't staying put (from what I hear- I did not/have not had any issues). Suspect that their notion of spec was slightly off. Not sure what their "fix" was. Anyway, the point of my reply, it's possible that the tractor manufacturer is either out of spec or is at the edges of spec.
