Skid plate

A friend of mine has a 8 wheel Argo. He wants to get a skid plate but nothing is available from the dealer and he can't find anything on line. Does anyone know if they even make one? He may resort to making something himself. Thanks.

Do you mean a metal skid plate? Normally they come with a double poly one installed. I think their riveted in place. I can't look at mine at the moment. If one was to be jaded you'd have to cut notches in it to account for all 8 axles. I would thought the dealer could get them.
