single remotes into 2

Was in Mich. this weedend and saw something interesting at a Rural King Store- a complete unit that snaps into existing remote hyd. couplings and thru an electric control converts them into 2 remotes w/ a switch control. Have seen the posts on the Surplus Centers El. diverter valves but thought this was interesting because all couplings and switch were included: essentially, plug and play. Retail was $299. Wondered if this could just be popped into one the the loader couplings for an easy way to set up for a grapple. Anyone with any experience?

Yep; the more I look at it I can probably get the one from the Surplus center and have 3 remotes for the same price

I've seen that valve or one just like it for $483.00. Is it a Fresen?

I've seen that valve or one just like it for $483.00. Is it a Fresen? I was thinking about using it for a grapple application. Seems it would very easy to install. My onlty concern would be that on my 2520 the loader couplers are right at the right side step and would be afraid of wacking one of the solenoids as they stick above the unit.

I believe that unit might be made by V&M or Fasse, and I do not think it will fit on the 2520 loader ports, It's made for the rear remotes were there is usually much more room.

You can hard mount the solenoid valve anywhere and run hoses from the existing remote to it. Been done many times with Fasse units. I prefer to, in fact. Less stress on the original couplers and their mounts.
