Single remote valve

I am thinking about buying a Mahindra 5530 4 WD with front end loader and am told I needed a single remote valve. Is this for the back hydraulics to use with a hay cutter, rake and/or hay baler?

Well now, you can install a single remote valve, but you will probably want more spools later for things like T-N-T.

I would suggest a 4 spool valve.

When you are working with a little bigger tractor as in the 5530, there are a lot more of the implements that have or can have hydraulics to do some of the adjustments or activation of the implement. I have 3 remotes on two of my tractors and I really need 4 on each one of them. If you do go with some rear remotes and do not go the OEM route, then I too would be installing a 4 valve setup. I believe that with the 5530, Mahindra only offers 2 remotes at the most and pretty pricey. The OEM setup is usually a little nicer & cleaner looking than the aftermarket stuff, but is quite a bit more $$$$. Anyway that you look at it though, it would be nice to have the remote there if you need it.
