I've read here that some implements don't fit on a BX2200 due to short 3PT arms and that some of you have
changed to older model arms that were longer.

If I'm buying a new 2200, should I try to get those longer arms right off the bat, and size my implements
accordingly?

My assumption is longer arms won't lift as much, since they are at a disadvantage.

Ideas Please as I'm getting ready to order the unit. THANKS.

There is only one set of Cat I arms available. We have not had any problem hooking up most 3-pt Cat I implements. If there is a problem because the implement pins are too wide, you can usually reverse the pins (outward to inward). We sell a Land Pride PHD especially built for the BX types and it comes with pins pointing both directions. Hope this helps.

I don't recall reading that in the last three months. I do remember some people talking about the top link length being an issue and the PTO shaft length being an issue.

Maybe I missed the one about the arms? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
