SHOP RULES!

First, let me start by saying that I'm new here, and this is my first post. Normally I tend to lurk a little longer, but I could not resist offering a response to this one. Years ago we had a mixed breed that would constantly grab items out of the shop and carry them out into the yard. It was all his way of getting me to play.

Yes! Rupert is particularly stealing gloves, like welding gloves or pieces of wood. If he can make me chase him for it, he is immensely proud and he will do it again. Rupert is 14 month old black lab.

My rule is: If I do something for you, and you help clean up afterwards and bring beer to drink, great, no charge, you are a friend. If you grab you fixed stuff and leave me to clean up thirsty, next time you go somewhere else for help.

I have a sign in my little Machine Shop to stress to my son Matt and anyone else that comes in wanting the old geezer to make them a part real quick.

If you don't have time to do it right the first time, then where do you find time to do it over? The right way this time!
