Shipping a tractor?

I found a tractor for my dad that’s three hundred miles away and was wondering if there’s a reliable service that would transport it? I’m in central Wisconsin and the tractor is in Michigan.

I had mine trucked about 900 miles, but it was all arranged by the selling dealer. Are you buying through a dealer, or privately? There are all sorts of brokers, and you could try U-Ship as well.

How big/heavy/tall is the tractor you want to ship? Is it something you can rent a truck and trailer, and just pick it up yourself?

Check your local tow company. My neighbour buys the odd car and has a contact with a rollback that moves the old car for him. He got a car last summer from about 600 miles away.
