I admit, I did this once. But not with vehicles, it was my Craftsman mower being jacked up while loading the trailer.

Wish there was a better image to see how the break-away cable was routed too!

I follow the Ontario Provincial Police traffic enforcement division on X.
They also do carrier enforcement.
You should see some of the scary stuff on the road.
If I ever think to transfer pics from my phone to my PC I'll share some.

Not sure if these are "towing something wrong", but here goes.

This strap and winch ended up on someone's front seat

After falling off a truck and going through the windshield

And bouncing off the steering wheel.
