We had a printer that had a rotating type band, like a band saw, but with three rows of characters. That machine would lift a full box of paper if you tried (we did).
It had a sound deadening wood and insulation cover, and it needed it.
The SGI machines had a flight simulator and we used to chase each other from different terminals using commercial planes.
The LISP machine was the one I dreaded coding on the most, try counting parentheses and making them correct or your data came out weird.

I briefly worked with a guy who claimed he did something like that when delivering sheetrock.
He delivered a flatbed trailer load but the promised forklift wasn't there to unload it. After waiting all day and after everyone went home, he claimed he drove in a tight circle and slid the sheetrock off his trailer. Credible? I don't know.
