Montreal Quebec has lots of bridges marked as low on major roadways, and no warnings. Or directions to get around them.
Many drivers stop at these things and then a local trucker comes by and says "go ahead". "Lots of room". Or, "you'll fit, just go slow
and don't hit a bump that may bounce your trailer too much".
Then they usually go through first to prove it.
You'd think it would be easier to replace the signs than have a truck stop in the middle of the road.
(I could go on and on about trucking in Montreal).
