The guy has a cowboy hat on. You ever hear the phrase “cowboy up”? He exemplifies that phrase!

Can you imagine how hard one would cringe with every bump and dip in the road at speed towing with that setup. Well I would anyway, but who knows, maybe cowboy here didn't worry one bit.

If his hitch wasn't bent down so far, he might have decent ground clearance under the trailer tongue.

Probably has one of these bolted to the trunk floor.

I am guessing that he is not the person who restored the Fury on the trailer. Anyone who can do that is into detail and likely would not attempt fate by an accident and destroy his hard work. Probably bought it as part of his cowboy up gig.

Holy crap! Does hauling 25 people in an SUV constitute wrong?

Yes - plus human smuggling. Sometimes this works makes you sad.

Since he made it all the way through, might those beams have been added at some point rather than true structural members? They don't look very significant compared to the dump bed.

The bridge and the road may be on two different planes so perhaps the leading side of the bridge was high enough for the truck.

Beams are strong in one direction. Not surprising they can be easily destroyed by force in another direction. That dump truck is a LOT of mass/intertia and obviously the dump box is securely fastened to the truck itself to hold the weights it carries. This outcome is not surprising in the least. What is surprising? That someone hauling a significantly oversized load isn't extremely cautious going under a bridge.
