Snow Setting up my snow thrower an have a question?

These shoes don't look like they are setup correctly.
What do you think?

They look like they are mounted in the wrong holes. The shoes should be relatively level when the blower is lowered.

Is this new? I hope not as the shoe should fit flat on the ground.

It looks to me that the shoe needs to be moved back a hole. Then I believe it would be close to level.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
The previous owner had it set up that way. It was that way when I got it.

Are those shoes gonna mark up my driveway? I just sealed it up nice on October.

This is correct. They should also go on the inside, not outside.

When I set the depth on my shoes I put it on a flat surface with an 1/8 inch spacer under the cutter bar and the shoes flat on the surface.
