Series 3000 quits when Hot

Well if it's not the coil, which I think it could be, maybe the replacement was defective too. The other possibility could be some kind of blockage in the fuel line.

I had some grass in the fuel line that would allow for good running for a time then sputter down and quit. After awhile the grass would loosen up a bit and the mower would run fine again.

It was the easiest fix I ever made, just to blow the fuel line out with air, but it took a longest time to diagnose it...very frustrating.

Check source voltage to coils.

Update.... tractor went for 30 minutes , and then died, as it has ....
installed new plugs (Champion) , same as was in there... restarted, and ran like a new machine
for the remaining hour and a half !
Mowed 2 hours straight today.... perfect. The plugs that were in, had about 20 hr.s on them,
never experienced this before....coils are new with about 20 hr.s on them, so I was
baffled by the problem....but all is well now... thanks for the tip !

Tell the truth, I dont like Champions.. had a couple either bad outta the box or fail quickly. I use NGK's now..

Glad its running good now.. Plugs are pain to diagnose
