New to the site so hello to all...

I recently aquired a JD 301. I have searched until I am blue to try and find some info regarding the ser numbers but no luck. I am trying to at least fing out the year. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Take the # to your local dealer-they can tell you the year as well as when/where it was sold and any warranty/service work that was performed.

I have tried both above suggestions. TractorData shows a 301 in the industrial line up but lists no ser #'s.

I inquired at my local dealer today but they were not much help.

Any other sug?

Thanks

Can you post a pic.. maybe somehow the decals (assuming that is where you are getting the 301) are incorrect.. OR just post a pic of the VIN, maybe someone can help decipher it that way..
