Does anyone know the hydraulic properties on an 1850 of the Grapple, Thumb, Locking mechanism hydraulics? GPM and PSI? Maybe how it all sort of works compared to the PTO?

Thanks

I have read this thread 3 times and I still cannot understand what your question is!!. The main PTO. and Aux. hookups( non-PTO ) are totally different beasts (flow & pressure are different on both circuits ). Could you make your question a little clearer?

I agree, try asking your question a different way, what you have typed makes no sense:confused:

I think he's looking for the specs on the Aux PTO and the main PTO, to compare them. I can find the info on the main PTO, but not the Aux PTO.

The main PTO is 18 GPM @ 3,200 PSI

What are the specs on the Aux PTO?

Yes, indeed, you are correct. I am back on my crack cocaine addiction so typing something coherent is becoming much harder to do.

I was just wondering what the Specs are on the AUX PTO circuit. The circuit I am referring to is also the circuit you use to operate the backhoe, grapple or locks for the quick attach...

Sorry for the confusion... We had a llong day of casting major acrtresses and always leaves me star struck and in a daze...

Us PT guys knew what you meant.

There are three hydraulic pumps on our PT425.

1. Main PTO is rated at 8GPM @ 2500PSI.
2. The auxillary PTO which runs the steering, lift and quick attach circuits is rated less GPM but still 2500PSI. I can't recall exactly, but I think it is 6GPM.
3. The variable volume pump that drives the main drive wheels I have never gotten specs for.

My suggestion would be for you to call Power Trac at 1-800-THE-YARD and just plain tell them you are interested in their product and would like some information regarding the GPM of the pumps so you can decide if it will push the implements that you want to use.;)

Interested? Heck, I bought one. But the truck caught on fire and now it won't show up until Wednesday or Thursday.

Living Vicariously through all of you. My little PT fix. Taking a week off from LA, going to fly up and play around with it and look at all the tulips and apple trees in bloom, then back to reality...

Thanks for the info on the PT. Will call Tazwell on Monday...
