"Search Forum" feature not working

Hello all,

Lately I have noticed the forum search feature located at the top right hand of each forum's main page is not working. I enter a rather plentiful term like "955" or "300X" and am returned to the main forum category page. I would search this very forum for a thread regarding this problem, but my search would be futile! In the past the search feature has worked well and been a great time saver. Could the problem be with my computer settings? How can this be remedied?

Hmmm.... I searched this forum for 955 and found your post. Seems to be working for me, too.

I tried a search for 300X and I got THIS RESULT working here

Thank you gentlemen,

I found that the "search" feature in the menu below the banner ads DOES work. For some reason, I can no longer find the search box in the purple headliner on any of the main forum pages. I am now using the search link up there with "Main index," "My Home," "Who's online," etc. Thanks for directing me there...it has been a real benefit by saving me time!
