scv question

I was looking at the parts explosion of a dual 2nd scv for the FEL on my 4100. There is a plate between the valve itself and the rear housing. The plate has two plugs on it, one at each end. Are these plugs pressure and and suction or are they controlled by the valve and thus would operate only with the joystick?

I know that the dscv for my 4310 has the fittings for the 3rd scv function. When you add the 3rd, you are getting the fittings to make the connections.
