Well, here it is. Too cool. Projects I've had in mind for 20 years are now within reach. Feeel the powwwer!

No idea what it can do yet, but it's fun to drive around the yard. The power steering in ridiculous. And hey, the seat is really easy to turn around. I was expecting Chinese torture. Don't believe everything you read on the internet. :D

Gotta go and hit the book now. I'll keep you posted and put up some more pics. Thanks everyone.

It's all about timing and affordablility........My timing and affordability was a BX23...Been a Great work horse.

Don

Well, no version is perfect....

The BX 23 seems to have had a few issues that I came across on a very quick search....
1*-1 Fender issue
2*-HST pedal sticky

Improvements with the BX24 were....
3*Curved FEL and BH angle of relief
More BH legroom
Protected Hoses inside the boom
cruise control
higher 3 pt hitch lift.

Thats what I came across on a quick search...
1*2*3* not 4 me.

Yeah, after considering all the different points of view in that "2 or 3 hook" thread, I opted for two, figuring I would leave the center open for another attachment or whatever and still be able to add one of those BXpanded Quick On Hooks in the center if I feel I need it.

Now I still gotta buy a toothbar (and find somebody to help with the welding), a 3 point hitch, a drawbar, a claw would be helpful (maybe next year), a couple of diesel fuel containers, maybe some slime, a grease gun, a bunch of fluids...

I guess buying the tractor was the easy part.

Tractor Factor,

You're gonna love your new machine. After having my BX23 for over 4 years, I still look for excuses to use it. One of the best purchases I ever made. Good luck with it.
