Scorpion T300 (TYM)

I'm looking at a used Scorpion T300. Unit is very low hour and looks great. My concern is getting parts. I've done a lot of googling and most of the info is quite old. Anyone in know about how hard it is to get parts for the old TYM 300? Thanks

Try Big Red's tractors in Texas. They have a good selection of new. They are also on this web sight often. They might be able to help with your questions about your Scorpion.

This tractor is 90% the same as the later T330 model. The main thing is if it is made 2002 or earlier you will have a different front axle than the later models. The early front axle square casting and the later one is round other than the mounting paints which are squared off. That is your biggest change from the early to later models other than the loader. Under the Scorpion labeled tractors there were 3 brands the distributor used. When things switched to TYM selling the tractors themselves things were much more consistent which is nice when getting parts for someone. I have owned one for 9 years and the tractor parts have not been hard to get. I have been very happy with mine.
