Okay, have a LP scarfier SF2577, not used it but I need to till the land here shortly. Been 30 years since I left our farm and things have changed, so what is the difference in a scarfier and chisel plow? From the 'pictures' I looked at chisel plow doesn't seem to go that deep and it would seem for really deep ripping one would get a cat with a 18"-24" ripper and go at it.
