SCAM, SCAM!!! I saw it too and have several e-mails back and forth with this person. Her name is (supposedly) Joanne Karstens. If anyone needs some emails for evidence for the DA let me know!
The first ones are just like the other postings say, she uses the same exact wording about the payment deal. Then when I pressed for some form or ID or a phone number they acted offended. I asked them if it was sold yesterday and they said no, they took it off of the tractorbynet because they thought it was sold, but the buyer couldn't get his bank loan! HA!!!

I recieved the same shipping and payment instructions for a 2410 i saw advertised. I asked for a phone and never rercieved on. I asked for and address for the tractor that was listed in Browntown WI. Recieved a reply that it was really in Pocatello ID. I said i had a relative in Idaho and could look at it for me. Recieved a reply that "no, the tractor was in Alburqurque NM. mabey you have a relative there". I said no problem , my brother lives 100 miles away and to give me and address. The smart *** responce said here is the address and gave me one that is good as far as MSN search says. And to let them know when my brother will be there to look at it. I told them about there letter to me was just like a scam i had been reading about and to please explain. Guess what? They fell off the earth. Not a word back, go figure.
As a side note, i sent a note to the TBN administrator and heard nothing back. I thought there would be a little more concern than that.

After one e-mail looking to get the phone # this is what I got. Was a little suspicious, so I started to do searches for the e-mail, name and Kubota bx22. I then found all the places she has it for sale. they are at the bottom. Then a search for square trade safedepartment brought me to your site, where I then confirmed my suspicion. I to have an e-mail out to her again asking for a phone # and I have a family member that lives in Idaho who could go look at the tractor, but no response. Someone should find away to scam them to teach him or her a lesson. Thank you for the alert, I had an idea but this proved it. Thanks again

The problem is that now I am in Pocatello/ID 83201 as ive been lucky and i bought a great farm here and the tractor will be shipped to you from here for inspecion as soon as you take a decision.
If you are really interested in buying it here is how we can easily start this transaction:

When you first stumble into this con stuff you find it incredible that people in power aren't more concerned. Yawn.... It really is just a trap for fools. Anyone who's been halfway round the block knows and smells the angle on these things. The DA or States Attorney must get a dozens of these each day. If they tripled their staffs they might actually convict a few. Of course we would be paying to protect innocent people from the absolutely obvious. I wouldn't get to worked up or spend much energy on this. That would be the real win for the perpetrators. It's kind of like.... don't walk into fast moving traffic and you probably won't have any problems. Really, it's that simple. Even though it is clearly wrong and certainly annoying.

We've gotten to where we think we need the government and people in power to protect us, from whom, ourselves? No, we just need us. It's working fine right here in this thread. Is everybody protected? NO. Will the powers at hand protect everybody with Herculean effort, NO. We do that. And you are doing it right here.

I encountered this person in mid-June so they’re apparently still around. Same words I got from the scammer. He/It used the name Danny Tremblay when I encountered him/it. I sensed scam so asked to talk via phone and was told he had been injured in a motorcycle accident and had auditory problems. Was tempted to reply I would talk REAL LOUD so he could hear, but instead reported him to AOL. He has been on every tractor related site out there.
