I had a Dixon and it was a good mower but it was literally worn out in about 5 years of mowing. In it's defense it was hard and heavy mowing, it would have been perfect for a suburban yard. Went with a Kubota ZD21 diesel 12 years ago and We are still using it. Can't comment on the other makes as I have not used them.

I thought that my JD 997 was the best :hissyfit:

I've got the best of the best, a Kubota ZD323 with R4's, can mow field grass in pooled water.

I was wondering about those tires... do they Mark the ground up? Would I piss off any account holders?

Ask them WHY they took the new carb apart? What was the reasoning behind doing so? They or you or both don't see how the new carb was the problem? They don't know what they did, but it is running?:confused2: As opposed to what? - not running? ? is: is it fixed?!

As I said, they could not or would not tell me what they did to actually make the engine run.
It is running now.

OK, and good. Seems evident they screwed up when doing the carb replacement. I'm glad it's running for you now. I asked what I did to get things focused on the last thing they touched to solve the problem. Hopefully it'll be trouble free going forward.
