CK30 HST and allis chalmers b with belly sickle at dads farm. Yanmar 2210DB , ford 8N .farmall cub
Is the satoh st1840 worth considering looking at? wasnt sure how readly available parts are for it and how strong it was for making a FEL and putting on it. Ive already got a satoh s370 2 wheel drive but would like a little bit bigger one and 4x4. the st1840 is 4x4.

Im also looking at a yanmar ym1500D that is a bit cheaper. plus the yanmar comes with a finish mower.

Not much info out on the 1840. I'm guessing it is a heavier tractor which would make it more desirable in my opinion. Check for power steering, that is a big plus with a loader. If the 1840 has it, then it's a no-brainer. Parts still might be tough though. Treat it right and it shouldn't need much more than normal consumables which are available.

It doesnt have power steering. And that is what bothers me about it. The fact that I can't find much out about it.

Everything has a price. I can support the st1840 pretty well parts wise. It is a good tractor. Power steering was not an option according to the parts book. It is a 4 cylinder. While Mitsubishi was using 3 cylinders in the US models, they were using 4 cylinders in the Japanese models. I do sell components to install ps on compact tractors. Requires some fabrication of brackets & linkage.
