Sap\'s a runnning

Well it got in the forty's today and the sap has started. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gifSupposed to be this way until tomorrow then get cold. Hope this is'nt the big one. Only have ten taps but with my five year old it's alot of fun.
He want's to check the buckets about every ten minutes. When he get's out there he puts his ear to the bucket to listen for the sap splashing. Never had so much fun since yesterday!!!!/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Aren't kids great.!!!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Yep..children sure can warm the heart in so many ways.

Sounds like your sugaring season started well,and you should have half a dozen of good runs,thats if this crazy weather slow up a bit.

By the sounds your son might want to expand the sugaring operation,better purchase more taps for next year. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
