SAME Solaris

I recently purchased a used compact 2002 model Solaris-45. It has a Loader, Cab, and low miles. I have researched on the internet this model and found it no longer is being sold in the USA. It was replaced by the AgroKid models from Deutz/Fahr who is owned by SAME as these two brands are nearly identical. My father in law had a large SAME for many years and the quality seems to be good. However, the local tractor dealers do not know a lot about the Solaris model and even the Deutz/Fahr dealer here never sold a Agrokid model. Often these tractors are used in Orchards as they are only 54 inches wide. The rear tires can be moved to 62 inches or so. I am a little worried about service but apparently parts can be ordered through Deutz/Fahr dealers.

Does anyone have any experience with the SAME Solaris compact tractors? Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We are a Deutz dealer in Indiana. I have the manuels for Same' Traactors.
If you go to Deutzfahrusa.com you can do a Dealer search for your local one.
They should beable to get parts and service for you.

I actually located dealers through the same Deutz/Fahr website you indicated but while they can order the parts it iwas not very encouraging to learn they have never sold a unit or done repairs. As far as the small Solaris 45 model it would be nice to learn more details as you can't find a lot of information on the web. I did download a PDF sales flyer and converted it from the metric system but it would be nice to hear from other owners. The previous owner of this model was very up beat and positive on the tractor.

The Solaris is a popular model in our area, I have lots of customers who own them and use them in vineyard operations every day. I currently have 5 2002 Solaris 25, 35 and 45 models on the lot that we bought from Deutz that they bought back from a dealer they had a dispute with. They are more of a commercial grade tractor like the Agrokid than a compact homeowner tractor. Parts are available and it is well supported.

Attached is a recent photo of the Same Solaris 45. The tractor was previously used for snow removal so 24" inches were custom added to the bucket. The total hours on this tractor is only 325 and it was garaged in the winter. Runs great with no problems. It has anti-freeze in the rear tires and at nearly 45 HP can deliver just about everything I need at the moment from working on the tree farm to light logging in the back 80 acres.

I also bought a Shaver pole pounder and will hook it up to the Solaris as soon as frost is out of the ground. Since I am new owner this year to this model any advice from more experienced Same Solaris owners would be appreciated.
