Mowing Safety switch shut-off

Just bought used LS 2030h. Engine fires but when I take my finger off the ignition button it shuts down. Anyone have this problem and know a solution? Thanks,

My tractor has the traditional key start ignition, but it seems to me that you either have a loose connection on the button leads or simply a defective push button. Wish I could be more help. Good luck.

Have you checked the fuses? Does the glow plug light come on when you reverse the switch?
