You must have a low GVWR, my SRW F350 rear suspension barely moves with 4000 lbs in the bed, and I don't have the overload leaves. I've always found chevy except the most recent ones are the saggy butt ones due to the good riding soft springs. My buddies 2500 HD isn't too bad, but it still doesn't like the correct tongue weight on big trailers.

I agree. I have a 06 F-350 SRW 4x4 Diesel with 11,500# GVWR (biggest in a Ford) and my neighbor has a 07 3500 Dmax SRW 4x4 Diesel with 9,900# GVWR (biggest in a GM). We cut wood all the time together and you can clearly see which truck is stouter. My 05 Dmax 3500 SRW 4x4 Diesel with 9,900# GVWR was very comparable to my 04 F-250 4x4 Diesel with 10,000# GVWR

Fyi for anyone interested, it looks like there's an SAE J2807 webex meeting on 8/17 from 1 to 3 pm EDT. As far as I can tell it appears to be open to the public; there's no mention of members only and the info is all in their public web area.
