RZT42 traction problems

Does anyone know if there is a wider rear tire option for the RZT42? I don't have the size but mine are the narrow ones. I have problems turning due to the reversing tire spinning...a lot! I really need better traction. I am looking at my kids 90 four wheeler and thinking hard about seeing if the tires on it will fit, but I might have deck-to-tire clearance issues. The guy I bought it from said he opted for the smaller tires because it was a 'trimming' mower for his lawn business. By this, I am thinking there may be larger options, but I can't find them anywhere.

I know the standard tire is skinny but was unaware of a wider rear being available.

I've seen ZTRs retrofitted with ATV tires for the rear. You'd just need some rim and wheel well clearance measurements and you're good to go. Other than that, maybe try Carlisle's website for lawn/garden tires.

FWIW, the OEM rears on my 2010 model year Z-Force did a lot of turf tearing too.

Be careful about changing tires. Tire slip is often preferable to higher-grip tires that tear up the turf.
