Hey guys, I have a John Deere 3010 with a pto mounted hydraulic pump for the loader. I have a 6' brush mower, and I was wondering if there is an adapter shaft, so I can run the mower without taking the pto pump off? Any ideas where to get one? Thanks guys.

You could just buy that 5 foot mower I have out back that uses a hydraulic motor to run the blades, so you could use the pump instead of just spending horsepower to run it with no benefit.

Does the female spline go all the way thru the pto pump? If so you could get an extended pto shaft and run mechanical implements from the part that would then be sticking out the rearward side of the pump.

Is this an old 3010 - i cant keep track of the new numbers. I have a 1962 JD2010 tricycle.

Yes the female spline goes all the way through. Any idea where I can get the extended pto shaft? And yes the tractor is roughly a 1962. Thanks.

Tractor supply has them. Slips over your 1-3/8 6T stub and extends it about 12". Your pump will have to move back too because it will be on the new spline. Ideal would be one from JD that mates with tractor spline socket and extends about twice as far as normal. Then pump would fit right where it is and shaft would stick out other side. This arrangement would stay closer to the bearing support and be more robust. See if they make em.

Went to Tractor Supply today. They did not have them, nor could I find them on the website. Any links or other places to check? Thanks.

Weird. Apparently a lot of TSC variability. The one I got cost about $70. It was described as follows on the Bar Code sticker:
Speeco 16064600U
PTO Extender
TSC# 02-7109-1

Call the TSC Store and ask them to order it for you, it is a distribution center stocked part so it shouldn't take long to get, but not all stores stock them (store managers have some discretion on what is stocked). SPYDERLK gave you the Speeco part number, and the TSC part number.
