RTV900 Issues

I just inquired at my dealer about a "coast valve". I bought it for $95, installed it and machine is now a dream to drive. It actually coasts to a stop and is easily shifted with no load on the transmission. The price seams a bit steep, but I was really annoyed with the condition. By the way, the install was simple. To get at the cap, which is just ahead of the hyd resevoir, I disconnected the cylinder at the lift box and swung it backward. The cap to remove is a 10mm allen head screw.

I'm seriously considering one of the coast valve on ebay. I noticed that there are two valves. One that is cheaper and noted to be a copy of the orginal valve. I am a little nervous about the possiblity of damaging the transmission, but am also sick of the neck strain when stoping. Even having the machine for over a year now and I still forget to compensate for the machine. So now my questions:

1. Which coast valve is better?

2. Are there any negatives that users have noted with their machines?

3. Has anyone experienced reduced break life or problems?

I can't say anything positive or negative about the 'knock-off' valve since I have never seen one in person and don't know anybody who has one. I have, however, had the 'original' valve for about a year. Now I can't imagine being without it in the RTV. Not only do I like it much better than the way it was, but now anyone can just jump in the RTV and drive it no problem. I'm in no way affiliated with the original maker of the valve. I'm just a guy who really likes the difference in my RTV.
