RTV snowplow suggestions

A couple of months ago my plow truck died for the last time. I have been making do with my Kioti lk3054 using the bucket. I have a 1100 foot steep driveway... I found a slightly used rtv900 with hard sided cab and heater for sale. I would add a plow but which one and how much would it cost. I welcome all suggestions so please let it rip.

There are a few out there. A Blizzard will cost you about $4000. There is Curtis and another call Black.

The Curtis plow is apparently a Kubota RTV option. It's part # V4208.

Sorry,I dont have a digital camera to take pics.I bought my curtis (6 ft.) plow,electric lift,manuel angle from my kubota dealer,installed price was $1500.So far I am pleased with the plow.The only problem I had was one of the guide(snowshoes)came off so I bought another one and put cotter keys on the shoes to hold it in place better.I don,t know thw website for the curtis plows but I also think they supply the John deere gators with the same plow.I think you might be able to see a picture on the deere website.coobie,

Coobie thanks for reply. I followed that link Amigauer put on and found this video click of the Blackline. Think I'll check it out a little more. I like the down force. It is pretty pricey though. About $2300 with power angle plow. Take a look. Blackline | Video

Can anyone tell me if there is a hydraulic pivot & lift system for the rtv 900 im looking at buying a snowplow and would like the pivot & lift to be hydraulic i've found lot''s of plows w/the lift operating from the wench but would like it to be hydraullic Thank's for any help.

The Kubota front blade is hyd. lift(electric) and there is an optional hyd. angle that uses the rear remote valve that controls the bed dump.

We custom fabricate full hydraulic plow blades on Kubota RTV's. We use 72"-11ga trip spring plow blades with hydraulic lift and angling. The hydraulics are controlled by a joystick valve located in the operator area to the right of the drivers seat. The hydraulics give you 30 degrees angling right/left, and 30 degree lift with 15 degree down pressure. The joystick valve has a float position which is recommended for plowing. We use a quick release mount with hydraulic quick connects on the front of the RTV. All hydraulics are run by the auxiliary hydraulic system. The auxiliary back plugs and the box dump are not affected by the front hydraulic circuits used to operate the blade.

The Curtis lift for the snowplow is an electic motor and acme screw - no hydraulics involved.

Tracy,Michigan Iron made my electric lift curtis snowplow into a full hydro,angle& lift.I could not be happier with there workmanship & service.GREAT folks to deal with.coobie
