Can a front winch be used to raise and lower the plow? If so rather then buying a power unit for the blade, buy a winch. At least you can use the winch for other options.

It probably could but it would be realllll slow..

Which RTV do you have? If it is the Worksite or Turf model you already have hydraulics and can lift it by adding some steel and a cylinder. I agree, a winch is too slow!!!

I have the worksite. I was just attempting the old, kill two birds with one stone. The blade on my four wheeler works with the winch. This is where the idea came from.

My personal opinion would be use the winch. The electric/hydro factory lift is not very speedy.If you are not looking for speed use the winch.
