Hi Kevin,

I have 2 Kubota dealers within an hour of me. Both are quoting me over $1,000 more than I was hoping for - around $11,600 for a worksite model.

One of the dealers has a used 2004 General Purpose with heavy tires, a dump and brush guard and still wants about $10,900 or so for it.

I may be looking at a Mule or Polaris if these dealers do not budge.

Agree with you on the prices, Dave .... I've been looking around the Saginaw area .... and noticed several used ones in the Auto Trader over the past 2 issues ... a camo model down in Indianapolis and a general purpose model about 30 miles from here ..... that one must have a lot of bells and whistles, he wants $2 grand more than 2005 list for a 2004 model.
The problem that I have is that everyone seems to like the Kubby quality (as I do for my tractor), which makes the pricing difference from the other makes less relevant.

Just got off the phone with my local dealer. Here's the prices he has on the Worksite RTV.
$10,765 - 2004 model

$11,150, - 2005 model

I have the heater installed and it works OK down to the teens. It has trouble keeping up with demand when the temp drops to single digits especially with defrosting the windshield. I have last years model, #V2414, which has a output of 15,000 BTU's. This year Kubota increased the output to 20,000 BTU's - #V2414A. This tells me that Kubota must have determined that it needed a little more output.

I installed the hydraulic angle kit which helps with the heat because I no longer have to keep opening the door to change the plow angle.
