NEVER !!!
NEVER !!!
Since it is a pipe plug, next April 5, Feast of Saint Vincent Ferrer, patron saint of plumbers.

There is a Patron Saint of Plumbers? Plumbers crack.....me up.
Problem solved. Why bother spending more money and likely destroying parts in the process.

While you guys are messing around with your pipe wrenches, i'll clamp my vise grips down and turn it out.
A pipe wrench grips much tighter vice grips. Had the op skipped the vice grips and the channel locks and went straight to the pipe wrench and he knew how to use a pipe wrench the plug would be out already.
Amen...
Okay so we have the upcoming holidays targeted for extraction. Memorial Day, Independence Day, my Wedding anniversary, Labor Day, Columbus Day (personally I think it should be Leif Erickson day, Thanksgiving. Best guesses? Otherwise, we will have to winter over again!
Waa-aay before that.
Is not that water down the drain?Righty tighty.
lefty loosey!
But then 'down under' might be the reverse! LOL
Maybe there is some connection to Kandos righty tightly lefty loosey perspective while under the tractor. Other than that we are broaching the influence of the Coriolis effect.^^ I thought we were talking about an oil drain? If it was full of water and rusted, well, that could explain some things.

Now we have the underlying cause; rusted from the inside jamming up the threads. Oil floats on top of water, and the drain is the low point; so,wouldn't take much free water to create rust especially with a good dose of the products of combustion which are acidic. Kando didn't have a ghost of a chance on this one.
More ammunition for us who promote drilling it out.

After the latest revelations, my thought is to scrap the tractor and buy a nice new Tier 4 tractor!
