Rotating grapple

We are creating a half-acre trellis with about 40 16-foot 4x4s.
Once the holes are dug, we want to be able to use our large John Deere tractor (have forgotten model number) to pick up each pole with a grapple, raise the pole, turn it 90 degrees and place it into a hole.
We are looking for advice on price range, brands and dealers.

I bet you could spend at least $4k for one of these, and unless you have a SS connector on your JD, you'll need an adapter. A 16' (wood) 4x4 is not very heavy to do by hand.

Do you have a hook for a chain on your loader bucket? If so you should be able to chain to the 16' 4x4, off center. and when it is picked up it will go vertical. Then use the curl/dump of the bucket to get it plumb enough to lower into the hole.

Thank for the replies. Looks like we will be using 6x6s, not the 4x4s I mentioned at first.
