Lots of threads on DIY work lights.

Has anybody used this complete kit which although is a more expensive seems like a fast way to install a kit.

Per owner the lights plug into the bullet connectors at the rear of the DK40.

I am very interested in this product just need some feedback from others

Looks to be about 3,500 lumens total for 2 lights. Is that considered "bight enough" for tractor work?

I installed Rigid CREE lights on my Kubota BX25... purchased one 20" Spot light and two 4" flood lights... installed them on the ROPE bar... when I turn these lights on... I can position/direct them forward or to the back (when operating backhoe)... these lights are better than daylight... exceeded my expectations... below is link to Rigid Lights:

You can purchase CREE lights on Amazon or Ebay... much cheaper... no doubt...

Hope this helps...

You could buy all the stuff for about 50 bucks

Kits are nice, but you can certainly do-it-yourself for far less money...and still have a great lighting system. LED's are the way to go!!!

That seems a little to expensive,I'd buy the lights separate,it should be a lot cheaper doing it this way.

Seems a bit expensive to me. I purchased a set of LED spot lights and everything needed to mount them at tractor supply and walked out with only spending a little less than half of what they want for that kit.

I considered that kit, but decided against on account of expense and the fact that additional materials are needed (you have to attached the wiring somehow for 1). For under $100 I mounted 3 LEDs (1 back, 2 forward) with a switch on the dash that looks factory made. 3 or 4 hours max time, could be done in less.

I put a set of leds, a switch, wire, and 'plastic armor' over the exposed wire on mine for less than $50.
