ROPS/FOPS kit?

I was browsing the Deere site and looking at the 110 TLB. I decided to play around with the Build Your Own feature. In the accessories portion, you can choose a ROPS/FOPS kit for $714. What is a ROPS/FOPS kit and why would anyone want one? The 110 has a ROPS/FOPS, so why would someone want another one?

Btw, what are rail forks? I have seen these listed before in the Build Your Own feature.

The rops fops listed on the site is an extra/replacement for the factory one since if it damaged you have to replace not repair it. Rail forks simple mean the fork slides on rails not on tubing or round steel. Like the big fork trucks use very common design. Oh rops/fops is the whole roll sturcture with the canopy and all.

$714 doesn't sound too bad, course I am not buying one...
