Hi! Not new to site...at least not brand new. Joined last winter, but lost my password. Got busy and didn't have time to figger out how to get started again. But winter's here and if it wasn't for my JD 4005 with snowplow blade hooked to frontloader, I'd be snowed in. House is up a 1200 ft driveway I built last year through the woods, 6" snow last night and 4 degrees F at 8:00. This is typical winter weather for western southern tier of New York. part time retired, part time working. got time off right now and could go to Florida, but then I'd miss out on all of this beautiful weather.
I do enjoy reading the posts of other tractor owners and their experiences and if I have anything I think will contribute in a positive way, I will.

Thankyou. Still have plenty of winter here before I can hitch up the plows and discs to JD and start prepping out a new garden site. Until the weather breaks for spring, plowing snow drifts and an occasional trip to the woods for firewood is what I do with my JD. Groundhog day comin up soon. That'll give me a clue to how much winter I can expect. Getting so cold, the viscosity of my diesel fuel is being affected, may have to start using some kerosene in the mix.
