Terry, I know it's possible, but is it feasible to build something similar to what you used on your welding table maybe?? Something that can easily be raised onto the wheels for moving and settled back down on the pedestal for use?
Absolutely. For a heavy table either a pallet jack or a formed pocket to accommodate a heavy duty hand truck would work for lifting the “other “end.
One of those trailer mover dollies would work too. Just mount a hitch on one end or a formed pocket of some sort for the ball to lift.

We had two Target stores come to Victoria a while back. They both closed after two years. I tried to purchase one of the electric shopping cart movers but the local grocery chain guys wanted them more than I did.
