HI new here, just wondered if anyone had any pointers on purchasing a Yanmar 186D without a loader and how hard it is to put one on. The guy selling it says it needs to have some fabrication/welding done to get one to fit. Something about a double spool valve. How much is a loader for this tractor anyway? where to find a loader? From my research these seem like nice little tractors, but should I hold out and try and find one with a loader already? This one is 2500 dollars. Seller does not know age, but says perhaps 900 hours on this unit.

I got my tractor(Kubota) without a loader. Ran about $3k for a new Bushhog brand loader, installed.

To put a loader on, it will have a frame that bolts to the tractor chassis. I know my Bushhog loader will fit a lot of tractors, it just uses a different mounting kit for other tractors.

Any tractor shop should be able to get you a loader; Bushhog, SMC, Koyker brands ect.

You might try Gold Country down in Auburn...

There is another poster on here "California" who also mentioned a 186d for $2500--You guys talking about the same tractor? I would think that it is likely.

An after market loader for a 1510d or 186d would work. Several brands were mentioned in the previous post. I believe that a subframe for the 1510 is available for Kokyer, but I could be wrong about that.

I have a 186d with Buhler Allied load that was put on by my friend. I can see he had to do some shimming but not any real fabricating. I remember him saying it took him a while to get everything right.
