Rock picker

Anybody run a rock picker and or know how much someone would charge to some work with one I got around 15-17 acres that really needs a rock picker

The rock pickers from Schulte, Degelman and the others are PTO driven with a double
acting lift system for the rock basket.

Any custom work would be done by the acre not by the hour.

The fastest way to manage this is ask the Degelman and Schulte dealers in your area
who owns a rock picker as you want to hire them for your acreage.

You want to do this when the ground has been plowed and not before.

It is funny how times change, I remember pickin rock as does my wife. That was how she learned to drive a stick shift. Pickin rock pulling forward and pickin some more. I have seen piles of rock that would fill 2 or 3 quads that were picked in one year by 3 people. Not saying you should pick these by hand, just remembering how things used to be and how much things change. Ed
