Robin same size as Kohler?

Does anyone know if the Robin engine is the same physical size as the Kohler engines Power Trac used previously. As luck would have it, I have a 25 HP Kohler in my garage that came out of a 2002ish vintage 425 (I bought the tractor originally and sold it to my neighbor when I bought my 1845). If anyone has a Robin laying around they can measure, we could compare the two engines. I suspect they would be interchangeable. Personally, I much prefer the Kohler due to easy cold starts, easy to find parts and service, and proven reliability. I'm not dissing the Robin....I just like the Kohler a bit better.

As far as I can tell,the Robin is significantly shorter front to back than anything else in the 25hp class. I think the next shortest is over an inch longer, maybe an inch and a half. Most are a fair bit longer than that.
