We are neighbors, not far at all. I'm on the other side in Cranberry Creek.
I made my trip, 15 miles round trip, made a nice parking area for my Dad with about 25 ton of crusher run. It was a nice load with lots of stone dust and spread great. I also ripped up their private road and re-spread the gravel. Years of plowing had taken its toll, very uneven side to side.
The secret to the nice ride was hitting the road by 6:30 AM. The state road has a decent apron to allow me to be well off the road, didn't see many cars at all. Left the machine at the job and went back for it this morning. 45 minutes each way, only wish I remembered my coffee.
I have a problem with this site that I was hoping I would never have to bring up. I'm afraid I need an "instant face" with tears /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. Mounting the loader Fri night in the heat, I was struggling a bit since I had it parked on the lawn. I tried to man-handle it a bit by pushing it over to line up the pins and the hose clamp that holds the hose along the hydaulic cylinder put a nice scratch in the side of my hood, nothing major but deep, and my first in almost two years of owning it. When it happened, there was/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif, then /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif , and finally /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif So, /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif is close, but one with tears would be better.
Still a good weekend of seat time and a couple of jobs done.
