Great looking drag. Where I used to live in Fla. on a sand road, there was a similar one that someone built from railroad ties. It was parked beside the road at either end and when it would get too washboardy, somebody would hook on and drag it back and forth a couple times and park it until the next time. At the price of steel today, that might be an option.

I get the price of steel issue. A person could "sneak up" on it by building the frame, and starting with the 2 long angled blades and one rear cross blade. This thing almost works too well, I only get to make two passes up down the road and I'm done. I enjoy my seat time on that New Holland!

I can attest to the efficiency of this type of drag.
We made one 8 ft X 8ft with 3 blades and used it for 10 years on 3 miles of road.
It scalped bumps, filled dips and just did a great job.
