I am guessing since TYM is making the move to Kukje engines instead of Yanmar that RK tractors will be soon be getting the same thing along with possibly new model numbers?

This was the answer I got from RK Tractor guy when he was still around back in 2018 for this same exact question you pointed out:

RK Tractors will not be part of any engine or drive-line consolidation related to the TYM acquisition of Kukje. Our engines will remain Yanmar and transmissions TYM design and manufacture.

He also said he would be around to help RK owner, but he then disappeared, so I wouldn't take that quote for granted either.

Having an engine manufacturer (Kukje) on their group (TYM), I don't see a reason for TYM to keep using Yanmar engines on future tractors.

Exactly. Patchwork is for quilts not tractors.

Then why Kubota uses Cummins engines and ZF transmissions on their new M8 tractors?

It also may have a Carraro front axle but can't quite confirm that.

For a great many years tractor manufactures have used various engine manufactures in their tractors.
Waukasha, Detroit diesel, Perkins, Cat come to mind without even trying to remember which ones some even offered different engines as an option.

Same as big truck manufactures Mack ,White, Peterbilt etc...

You do realize that Kubota buys tractors from another company, and puts their name on them, don't you???

SR

What models? If they do it’s only the big series from Europe.

And I’m not talking about lawn equipment...

A Cummins equipped Kubota! Take my money! Lol

As you all are probably aware Deere uses a Cummins in their highest horsepower tractor. Cummins is on the same level as Kubota when it comes to Diesel engines.

Kubota also had a couple tractors made by Ebro for the Spanish market, from 1985 to 1994 I believe.

When it comes to bigger HP diesels, Cummins is easily superior to Kubota!!
