Ripper(?) Repair

I'm not sure this is a ripper, but it is missing some prongs/teeth. I am figuring 3 of 9. First question is where can I find these? What exactly is this used for? I am wanting to rake some roots, debri up from a field I am clearing before disking.

It looks like an Allis Chalmers digger They used same tines on there cultivators, Maybe you could find them in a junk yard.

With those bolt on tine brackets, it looks like some type of row cultivator that you can adjust the position/width to go between planted rows. I don't know about direct replacements, but you might try

Look under "AG & Tillage" and "tillage" I found reversible cultivator points in a quick look. They also have landscape tines at a very reasonable price, so you could probably replace the whole assembly if you are going to be using it for rakeing anyway.

They are great people to deal with in my experience. If you need specific info on a part, give them a call. When I was building a landscape rake, they E-mailed me the manufacturers spec drawings for the rake tines. For a smaller rake project, they sent me a sample tine free of charge to test fit on my frame.

That is a cultivator and pic shows 2 bolts in the sweep? If so, any store that sells field cultivator sweeps such as TSC should have replacements just as long as the bolt centers are the same.

If that is in Nashville, I think you should just get rid of it, that old rusty thing should not be around, matter of fact, I may be able to help you out of this dilema

But really, any of the tractor shops have those or can get them through Tisco or similar. Everyone seems to have a slightly different name for them but just bring in an old one and they can match you up.

I use Red River Equipment up here in Clarksville, and he keeps several types sizes etc. on the shelf.

Alan, Thanks for the offer, but it's in NC. Probably cost more to ship than it's worth.

I'll check out the local farm supplies over there.
