Riding mower issues please help

I know its not an actual tractor, but most farm owners have riding mowers and mine is giving me a **** of a time. Its a husqavarna yth2454 and it keeps randomly blowing its fuse. I've checked every wire and I haven't found any issues, but it still at any given time blow its fuse. Has anyone had an issue like this before, I'm not sure where to look or what the cause is. any help would be great.

A little more information would be helpful. Does the mower have only one fuse? What circuits are on the fuse, head lights, electric clutch for blades, dash lights? Is there any way you could disconnect some items from the circuit and still run the mower to do process of elimination. Is it the correct size fuse for the mower or did someone replace it with a smaller one. You say randomly blowing does that mean when you are mowing or any time the tractor is running? I know you checked the wiring and sometimes it is hard to find a bad spot, make there are no slip on connectors close to metal parts. I hope you find the problem and post what you find. Does the mower sit outside where it gets a lot of moisture?

I always seem to leave out the details, I am sorry.
here are the wiring diagrams from the owners manual. The fuse size is a 20 amp just like it is specified in the manual. Yea basically the fuse will blow either when I'm driving it somewhere or when cutting at any given time, there is no pattern to it happening.

As mentioned, headlight wiring is a 1st check on riders like this. I'd unhook it for troubleshooting purposes. Other than that, inspect the PTO switch for melting. Wobble the connectors behind the PTO and ignition switches. No joy there, unhook the connector at the regulator. Briggs red. Kohler, just pull the whole connector off and test run.

I'd follow your wiring harness and check for insulation worn off a wire from chafing on a sharp piece of metal. The random aspect of it leads me to believe that's what you are looking for. An electrical component problem would normally fail and say failed and you don't have any, other than you might have a bad ignition switch where internally conductive material from a run position has migrated from that position to the off position which is ground and that is where your short is. That's the second thing I'd suspect.

I think the next time it blows, stop what you are doing, get your ohm meter out and do an ohm check. If you get a short, pull the connector off the back of the key switch if the short leaves get a new switch. If it remains, do a visual of all your wiring looking for chafe points.

Ok so I believe the issue has been solved, I did what you guys suggested, I triple checked all the wiring, no frays or damage to be found, so then I isolated the circuits, and it seems to be running flawlessly with the headlight switch and the lcd screen disconnected. I cut at least 1.5 acres today, with no issues what so ever. Thanks for all your help everyone.
